If Robert Corby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Eadan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Laurin in the 31st minute of the match. Ozzy Coulson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Ely in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th play minute Jeffrey Ely came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ozzy Coulson. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Emilio Laurin made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, OJ Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Will Knight came free, but Ozzy Coulson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis Eadan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Laurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Jeffrey Ely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozzy Coulson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ozzy Coulson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Ely in the 64th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Wareham's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emilio Laurin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 77th minute, Stewart Monkhouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Wareham getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gary Warner hit a great ball. Will Knight struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ozzy Coulson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wareham. In the 84th minute, Jeffrey Ely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ozzy Coulson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 86 played minutes OJ Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Will Larham. Keith Upson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ozzy Coulson right hand side. In the 89th match minute, OJ Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Larham to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Leo Higgins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Wareham's Keith Upson in action when he in the 93rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Ely in the 94th minute of play forced OJ Rovers's goalkeeper Ozzy Coulson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
