Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Will Knight kicked off to start the match. Sid Metcalf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Charles Yorke made a huge save. 8 minutes into the game, Jerome Martin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waterloo and South Bank AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wareham the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Waterloo and South Bank AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Martin to maneuver through the defense. Wareham's Keith Upson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Waterloo and South Bank AFC. 13 minutes into the game, Tommy Rice was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waterloo and South Bank AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wareham the free kick. Tommy Rice kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. When Sid Metcalf came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Wareham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sid Metcalf couldn't finish the play. Will Knight sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Eadan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Ashton in the 21st minute of the match. Sid Metcalf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Yorke having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Wareham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid Metcalf to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Will Knight kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charles Yorke. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Wesley Ashton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waterloo and South Bank AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Ashton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis Eadan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Will Knight sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Will Knight struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Charles Yorke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wareham. Charles Yorke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Knight, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wesley Ashton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sid Metcalf might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Yorke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sid Metcalf ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommy Rice got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Wareham booed when Waterloo and South Bank AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Rice didn't get a good kick on the ball. Will Knight might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Yorke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Will Knight ran back to his position shaking his head. Charles Yorke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Metcalf in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Jeffrey Ely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nath Gill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Eadan having to interfere. Charles Yorke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Knight, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Wareham's Will Knight got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sid Metcalf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Sid Metcalf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Yorke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Will Knight in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Yorke saved Waterloo and South Bank AFC from getting behind. Neil Duff kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Wareham were the better team. Wareham's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
