After having played for 10 minutes, Andy Coulthard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neil Chambers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Curtis Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rich Hargreaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Bond having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Clive Griggs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clive Griggs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Ollie Holroyd recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Curtis Hassell. Ollie Holroyd showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rich Hargreaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddy Bond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rich Hargreaves ran back to his position shaking his head. ⭐️⭐️⭐️FC U.m.b.r.O⭐️⭐️⭐️'s Eddy Bond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Coulthard in the 21st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clive Griggs in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddy Bond saved ⭐️⭐️⭐️FC U.m.b.r.O⭐️⭐️⭐️ from getting behind. Andy Coulthard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Bond having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Ruben Lofthouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Ollie Holroyd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Hassell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Liverpool's Clive Griggs got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes, Clive Griggs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liverpool and the ⭐️⭐️⭐️FC U.m.b.r.O⭐️⭐️⭐️ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Clive Griggs. Eddy Bond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rich Hargreaves in the 49th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Coulthard to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Preece in the 53rd minute of play forced ⭐️⭐️⭐️FC U.m.b.r.O⭐️⭐️⭐️'s goalkeeper Eddy Bond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Oscar Preece cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eddy Bond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 58 minutes, Travis Boyes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⭐️⭐️⭐️FC U.m.b.r.O⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the Liverpool players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ⭐️⭐️⭐️FC U.m.b.r.O⭐️⭐️⭐️ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Travis Boyes hit a great ball. Rich Hargreaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eddy Bond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Preece struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Eddy Bond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool. Andy Coulthard succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ⭐️⭐️⭐️FC U.m.b.r.O⭐️⭐️⭐️'s goalkeeper Eddy Bond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eddy Bond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rich Hargreaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Ollie Holroyd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Hassell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Griggss short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Eddy Bond to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 90 minutes in the game, Andy Coulthard fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eddy Bond having to interfere. Eddy Bond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clive Griggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddy Bond made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Rich Hargreaves sent off a good shot on target.
