Marlon Stobbs got in the 3rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kelvin Golding handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Shaun Bolton's late challenge caught a HULL CITY FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shaun Bolton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC SAMBA's Shaun Bolton got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes, HULL CITY FC's Karl Millman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kelvin Golding came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HULL CITY FC reached it. Shawn Bannister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frankie Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shawn Bannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HULL CITY FC's Ivor Boyce got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Andy Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kelvin Golding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Shawn Bannister fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kelvin Golding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Smith in the 33rd minute of play. Ian Blake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kelvin Golding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Jamal Foley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jamal Foley's late challenge caught a HULL CITY FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamal Foley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, FC SAMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamal Foley to maneuver through the defense. Karl Millman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kelvin Golding. FC SAMBA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andy Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelvin Golding having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Smith made a kick off. Shawn Bannister's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frankie Vazquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Shawn Bannister managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC SAMBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Bannister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frankie Vazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, FC SAMBA's goalkeeper Kelvin Golding had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivor Boyce. 60 minutes into the match, FC SAMBA's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Smith came free, but Kelvin Golding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelvin Golding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Smith in the 62nd minute of the match. If Andy Smith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Andy Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HULL CITY FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th match minute, HULL CITY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Blake to maneuver through the defense. Shawn Bannister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Frankie Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Shawn Bannister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Shawn Bannister who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HULL CITY FC's Frankie Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frankie Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Ellershaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Ivor Boyce put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kelvin Golding. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for HULL CITY FC! HULL CITY FC:s Frankie Vazquez showed great skill when he stopped Shaun Bolton:s penalty. Frankie Vazquez came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by FC SAMBA's Shaun Bolton. But to his dismay, Shaun Bolton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
