Nath Oldroyd struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Marek Daly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slade Green Knights. Brendon Prutton scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marek Daly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Prutton in the 23rd minute of play forced liam fc's goalkeeper Marek Daly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in liam fc's zone, Brendon Prutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Daly came out of the goal and Brendon Prutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timothy Maxell during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Slade Green Knights booed when liam fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Maxell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Slade Green Knights's Nath Oldroyd made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marek Daly was left in no man's land by his defense there! liam fc's Marek Daly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Prutton in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Slade Green Knights booed when liam fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Poate didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brendon Prutton came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Slade Green Knights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendon Prutton couldn't finish the play. When Slade Green Knights's Brendon Prutton in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brendon Prutton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Nath Oldroyd got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marek Daly was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Slade Green Knights's Joshua Martin got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendon Prutton in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marek Daly saved liam fc from getting behind. Marek Daly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nath Oldroyd in the 66th minute. Marek Daly made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Nath Oldroyd sent off a good shot on target. Nath Oldroyd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marek Daly made a huge save. After 75 played minutes liam fc got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Maxell. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nath Oldroyd got free with Marek Daly in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slade Green Knights's Nath Oldroyd got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nath Oldroyd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marek Daly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendon Prutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes liam fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Justin Edgson who took care of the corner kick. Nath Oldroyd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Marek Daly made a huge save. Brendon Prutton's late challenge caught a liam fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brendon Prutton helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of liam fc booed when Slade Green Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendon Prutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nath Oldroyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Slade Green Knights's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
