Larry Shephard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Neville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Buster Greenwood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Bucknell United's zone, Buster Greenwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddy Endean came out of the goal and Buster Greenwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Buster Greenwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham Spur Incredible's supporters rose to their feet, but Buster Greenwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Endean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Larry Shephard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stu Burns, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Buster Greenwood's late challenge caught a Bucknell United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Buster Greenwood helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tottenham Spur Incredible's Buster Greenwood got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Tottenham Spur Incredible getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Timothy Chambers hit a great ball. Larry Shephard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stu Burns went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Alan Rowe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larry Shephard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stu Burns in the 41st minute of the match. Eddy Endean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Buster Greenwood's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Buster Greenwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eddy Endean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alan Rowe to make the kick off. When Gareth Rashleigh fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bucknell United's protests and gave Gareth Rashleigh a yellow card for diving instead. Gareth Rashleigh hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kyle Mills hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Buster Greenwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tottenham Spur Incredible booed when Bucknell United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stu Burns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bucknell United's Eddy Endean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buster Greenwood in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timothy Chambers during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Tottenham Spur Incredible's zone, Stu Burns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bucknell United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tottenham Spur Incredible the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sammy Wallbank during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Bucknell United got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Wallbank. In the 96th minute Buster Greenwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Endean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bucknell United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
