Spectators: 7593 (Terracing: 5696, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Don Rush started the match with the kick off. Dylan Maxell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jim Halford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Milton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim Halford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Milton, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Dylan Maxell elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Lucas Milton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jim Halford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dylan Maxell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Halford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Robert Colbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warrington KK and the Dudley City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Warrington KK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Colbert to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Dylan Maxell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jim Halford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dylan Maxell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Lucas Milton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Halford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylan Maxell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Dudley City were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dylan Maxell made the kick off in the second half. If Craig Durkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Paul Cadwallader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Rush, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Don Rush notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Dudley City's John Paul Cadwallader. John Paul Cadwallader was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Warrington KK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Louie Fairbank hit a great ball. Lucas Milton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jim Halford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dylan Maxell came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Dudley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Maxell couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Milton got free with Jim Halford in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Robert Colbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Craig Durkin took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Paul Cadwallader. John Paul Cadwallader dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5.
