Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Walthamstow FC's Rodd Ashton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Drillas Fc got a freekick which was hit by Will Firth. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Ramsden got free with Wes Chapman in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tom Cheeseman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bart Darko in the 9th minute of play. Aaron Ramsden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Wes Chapman made a huge save. Aaron Ramsden succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Ramsden in the 17th minute of play forced Walthamstow FC's goalkeeper Wes Chapman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Washington during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Walthamstow FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon Washington. Wes Chapman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Creighton in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Drillas Fc's zone, Bart Darko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Cheeseman came out of the goal and Bart Darko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Drillas Fc getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Will Firth hit a great ball. Rodd Ashton struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Tom Cheeseman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walthamstow FC. Wes Chapman made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Aaron Ramsden sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute Peter Gilchrist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wes Chapman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodd Ashton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Drillas Fc got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Creighton. Rodd Ashton was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Sid Parkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Cheeseman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodd Ashton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Cheeseman having to make a save. Isaac Creighton charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Creighton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bart Darko got in the 41st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tom Cheeseman handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Micheal Wilson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walthamstow FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Micheal Wilson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Cheeseman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sid Parkin scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Cheeseman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Gilchrist was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Sid Parkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walthamstow FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Parkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Drillas Fc's Tom Cheeseman got control of the ball when Bart Darko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Micheal Wilson in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tom Cheeseman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Micheal Wilsons short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Tom Cheeseman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 70 minutes into the game, Bart Darko lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Tom Cheeseman. In the 75th minute of the match Will Firth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wes Chapman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Drillas Fc's Tom Cheeseman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Drillas Fc from getting a goal against them. Wes Chapman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Ramsden went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Will Firth during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Will Firth hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Tom Cheeseman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Ashton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Drillas Fc's Tom Cheeseman got control of the ball when Bart Darko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wes Chapman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Ramsden in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodd Ashton in the 96th minute of play forced Drillas Fc's goalkeeper Tom Cheeseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
