Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Gilchrist kicked off to start the match. Tom Cheeseman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Butterfield in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Drillas Fc got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Creighton. Zak Porter was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Aaron Ramsden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Billie Hulbert was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 15th minute, Peter Gilchrist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martyn Fitzsymon hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes, Martyn Fitzsymon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dayco Fc and the Drillas Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Dayco Fc got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Fitzsymon. Travis Faith was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Peter Gilchrist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Billie Hulbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aaron Ramsden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billie Hulbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Gilchrist in the 33rd minute of play. Peter Gilchrist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Billie Hulbert came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Gilchrist slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Drillas Fc. Travis Faith stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Billie Hulbert. 3-0. Billie Hulbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Ramsden in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Butterfield made a kick off. After some careless play in the Dayco Fc defense, Peter Gilchrist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billie Hulbert. The Dayco Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billie Hulbert should have stopped the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Aaron Ramsden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drillas Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Ramsden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 played minutes Drillas Fc got a freekick which was hit by Len Riley. After a rather tough play, Dayco Fc's Tyrone Steel got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Aaron Ramsden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Gilchrist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Hulbert having to interfere. After 73 played minutes, Drillas Fc's Travis Faith shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Billie Hulbert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Drillas Fc reached it. After 76 minutes of play, Drillas Fc's Peter Gilchrist made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billie Hulbert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dayco Fc's Billie Hulbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Gilchrist in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Peter Gilchrist notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Dayco Fc's Billie Hulbert. Billie Hulbert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89thth minute of the game Peter Gilchrist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dayco Fc's Billie Hulbert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Drillas Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
