Ethan Broadbent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Atkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rupert Atkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. WE UNITED's Glyn Harrison got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glyn Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sammy Bowland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pete Holland came out and tried to block the shot, but Sammy Bowland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. With a little luck, WE UNITED's Pete Holland got control of the ball when Dion Gregory tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pete Holland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Bowland in the 31st minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Christopher Branston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WE UNITED and the CHELSEA UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th match minute, WE UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Branston to maneuver through the defense. Pete Holland made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Dion Gregory sent off a good shot on target. If Sammy Bowland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. WE UNITED's Pete Holland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Bowland in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rupert Atkins made the kick off in the second half. Dion Gregory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Holland having to interfere. WE UNITED's Glyn Harrison got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Dion Gregory managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHELSEA UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Dion Gregory was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pete Holland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CHELSEA UNITED's Ethan Broadbent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Atkins in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Bowland in the 71st minute of play forced WE UNITED's goalkeeper Pete Holland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Rupert Atkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. WE UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert Atkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Glyn Harrison got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CHELSEA UNITED fans cheered their team off the field, for while WE UNITED had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
