Jacob Butterfield started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Atkins in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Billie Hulbert saved Dayco Fc from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Butterfield in the 6th minute of play forced WE UNITED's goalkeeper Pete Holland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dayco Fc's Billie Hulbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Dayco Fc from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Howard Granville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jacob Butterfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes WE UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Howard Granville. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glyn Harrison got free with Billie Hulbert in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, WE UNITED's Rupert Atkins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Glyn Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Hulbert having to interfere. Jerome Pearson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pete Holland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, WE UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Jerome Pearson came free, but Pete Holland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glyn Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dayco Fc booed when WE UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Ash didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Zak Porter in the 43rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pete Holland's left hand side. Jerome Pearson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Holland having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rupert Atkins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacob Butterfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Holland having to interfere. Mitch Gerrard hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Zak Porter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pete Holland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Billie Hulbert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glyn Harrison's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Jacob Butterfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. WE UNITED's Rupert Atkins got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rupert Atkins took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billie Hulbert. Billie Hulbert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 80th minute Jacob Butterfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Holland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zak Porter kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. WE UNITED's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oliver Marler in the 85th minute. After 87 played minutes Jacob Butterfield rounded WE UNITED's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Jerome Pearson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. WE UNITED's Glyn Harrison got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rupert Atkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dayco Fc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
