Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaq Stone started the match with the kick off. Dave Driver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dion Hayes having to interfere. Dion Hayes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dean Basham showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. The supporters of Penistone City booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reuben Groves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Driver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dean Basham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st play minute Dave Driver came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dion Hayes. 2-0. Dean Basham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dave Driver might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dion Hayes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Driver ran back to his position shaking his head. Dion Hayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Basham, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Tottenham's Rhys Winstanley got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Reuben Welsh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penistone City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tottenham the free kick. In the 45th minute, Reuben Welsh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Dave Driver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dion Hayes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dean Basham to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Tottenham's Dean Basham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dion Hayes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 62nd minute, Gregory Llyod hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dion Hayes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dean Basham's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Tottenham's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zaq Stone fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Tottenham's Reuben Groves got a free kick in the 67th minute. Dion Hayes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Driver's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Tottenham's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
