Spectators: 7564 (Terracing: 5674, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) Dean Basham started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Victor Markham kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Dave Driver put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vinnie Mann. Tottenham's Gregory Archer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casey Metcalf in the 6th minute of play. If Dean Basham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howard Knowles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregory Archer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Derry Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Driver came free, but Vinnie Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Tyrone Barker shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinnie Mann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Dean Basham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dave Driver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinnie Mann having to interfere. Reuben Groves kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Derry Hill's zone, Dave Driver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinnie Mann came out of the goal and Dave Driver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 played minutes Derry Hill got a freekick which was hit by Silvester Rawson. Dave Driver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinnie Mann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Driver in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Blair Wootton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tottenham and the Derry Hill players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Blair Wootton hit a great ball. Howard Knowles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes, Tottenham's Rhys Winstanley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinnie Mann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tottenham reached it. Gregory Archer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dean Basham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Casey Metcalf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Howard Knowles in the 56th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Gregory Archer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dean Basham sped through Derry Hill's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinnie Mann. With a little luck, Derry Hill's Vinnie Mann got control of the ball when Kasey Talbot tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Reuben Groves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinnie Mann was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Dean Basham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dean Basham really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 73 minutes, Dean Basham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tottenham and the Derry Hill players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Tottenham got a freekick which was hit by Dean Basham. Gregory Archer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howard Knowles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gregory Llyod hit a great ball. When Kasey Talbot fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tottenham's protests and gave Kasey Talbot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, one of Derry Hill:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Derry Hill. Tyrone Barker shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 83 minutes into the match, Howard Knowles notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tottenham's Gregory Archer. Gregory Archer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Derry Hill's goalkeeper Vinnie Mann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Driver. In the 90th minute, Dave Driver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tottenham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gregory Llyod hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Clay in the 94th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Gregory Archer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
