Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dean Basham kicked off to start the match. Casey Metcalf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Gregory Archer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute Howard Knowles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Archer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinnie Mann was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Dean Basham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dean Basham really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Derry Hill's Vinnie Mann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Derry Hill from getting a goal against them. Geoff Ellerton hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhys Winstanley to maneuver through the defense. Victor Markham hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Tottenham's Tyrone Barker tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Reuben Groves charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reuben Groves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reuben Groves hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Vinnie Mann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Basham, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Metcalf in the 44th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Gregory Archer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howard Knowles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casey Metcalf to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Tottenham's goalkeeper Gregory Archer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casey Metcalf. In the 62nd minute, Dave Driver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tottenham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 67th minute Victor Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Archer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dean Basham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Dave Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Driver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinnie Mann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinnie Mann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Basham, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Dave Driver made a precise shot to the right of Vinnie Mann. Derry Hill's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Dave Driver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Driver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinnie Mann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derry Hill's Vinnie Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Basham in the 93rd minute of play. Tottenham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
