Horsforth FC's Philip Flintoff got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MeowMeowCats's Frazer Towler got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jay Sutherland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horsforth FC's Reuben Arrowsmith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wally Cuss charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wally Cuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wally Cuss hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Frazer Towler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Arrowsmith having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frazer Towler in the 30th minute of play forced Horsforth FC's goalkeeper Reuben Arrowsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trev Impey's late challenge caught a MeowMeowCats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trev Impey helped the player get up and apologised. Trev Impey hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Reuben Arrowsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Sutherland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jay Sutherland in the 38th minute of play forced Horsforth FC's goalkeeper Reuben Arrowsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frazer Towler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Reuben Arrowsmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Groves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Philip Flintoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Cousens having to make a save. 59 minutes into the match, Horsforth FC's Joe Groves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Cousens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 played minutes, MeowMeowCats's Ivor England shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reuben Arrowsmith came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MeowMeowCats reached it. After having played for 64 minutes, Jay Sutherland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MeowMeowCats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Sutherland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jay Sutherland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Reuben Arrowsmith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reuben Arrowsmith made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frazer Towler in the 72nd minute. Frazer Towler in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reuben Arrowsmith, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reuben Arrowsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Sutherland in the 85th minute of the match. Steve Beesley hit a great ball. MeowMeowCats's Jay Sutherland got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
