Spectators: 5800 (Terracing: 4800, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jake French took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Oscar Cunningham came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Windsor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Cunningham couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clive Braithwaite during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Paignton FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Clive Braithwaite hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Gregory Gulliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Windsor booed when Paignton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Braithwaite didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Lee Grainger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shawn McGurk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jake French came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Paignton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jake French couldn't finish the play. Jake French sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tris Hicks to strike the kick off in the second half. Lee Grainger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shawn McGurk. Paignton FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sacha Bowland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jake French in the 54th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Windsor got a freekick which was hit by James Archer. Jake French received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sacha Bowland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ross Hart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sacha Bowland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jake French's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Sacha Bowland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake French, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Thompson charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Thompson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Windsor's Patrick Thompson got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jake French recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ross Hart could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Sacha Bowland however easily saved by the left post.
