If Oscar Cunningham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Cunningham took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kirk Cambridge. Kirk Cambridge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 15 played minutes Nunthorpe AFC got a freekick which was hit by Keiran Mayall. In the 18th minute of the match, Oscar Cunningham got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kirk Cambridge was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Cunningham got free with Kirk Cambridge in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, James Archer took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Kirk Cambridge to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 34 minutes, Keiran Mayall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nunthorpe AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keiran Mayall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keiran Mayall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sacha Bowland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Windsor's goalkeeper Sacha Bowland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Cunningham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Kirk Cambridge made a huge save. If Oscar Cunningham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Kirk Cambridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Cunningham, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes, Tris Hicks made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. The supporters of Windsor booed when Nunthorpe AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keiran Mayall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Windsor's supporters rose to their feet, but Tris Hicks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirk Cambridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nunthorpe AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of Nunthorpe AFC booed when Windsor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Scargill didn't get a good kick on the ball.
