Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rhys Moore took the kick off in the first half of the match. Steven Robson's late challenge caught a Paignton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steven Robson helped the player get up and apologised. Steven Robson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Rhys Moore kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Ross Hart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Hart's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Danny Carlick firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, BCMY's Reuben Bridgewater got a free kick in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the game, BCMY's Rhys Moore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shawn McGurk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ross Hart got free with Danny Carlick in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes BCMY got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Bridgewater. BCMY's Danny Carlick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save BCMY from getting a goal against them. If Ross Hart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Carlick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ross Hart in the 39th minute. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Ross Hart got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Steven Robson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Shawn McGurk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half BCMY were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jake French made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Dave Reid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paignton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BCMY the free kick. A collision led to Paignton FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dave Reid hit a great ball. If Rhys Moore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steven Robson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Shawn McGurk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shawn McGurk was a little too slow when Rhys Moore got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 65th match minute, Paignton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Braithwaite to maneuver through the defense. Basil Wittingham succeeded in the game's 66th minute to get real power on a long shot . Paignton FC's Shawn McGurk hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-3! Rhys Moore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn McGurk having to interfere. Reuben Bridgewater hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute Ross Hart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Carlick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Carlick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake French, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jake French scored 1-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danny Carlick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Paignton FC's Shawn McGurk got control of the ball when Steven Robson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steven Robson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shawn McGurk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. BCMY's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
