Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If David Wakefield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Marek Lightfoot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Whiteley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sadbury FC the free kick. In the 8th minute, Marek Lightfoot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Whiteley's Kelvin Cutts got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Connor Grainger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Whiteley and the Sadbury FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Whiteley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Grainger to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Sadbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Wakefield to maneuver through the defense. Kelvin Cutts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sidney Slator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Whiteley fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Whiteley's Kelvin Cutts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vince Armstrong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sidney Slator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Slator stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kelvin Cutts's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Vince Armstrong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidney Slator made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Marek Lightfoot sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, David Wakefield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kelvin Cutts to make the kick off. Sadbury FC were furious when Larry Hilton was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Whiteley a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Calvin Gettins, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sadbury FC's Sidney Slator. 3-0. After 60 minutes of play, Whiteley's Kelvin Cutts made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidney Slator was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vince Armstrong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sidney Slator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Slator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Grainger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Whiteley got a freekick which was hit by Vince Armstrong. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Armstrong in the 69th minute of play forced Sadbury FC's goalkeeper Sidney Slator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sadbury FC's Sidney Slator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Armstrong in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Sadbury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vince Armstrong came free, but Sidney Slator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vince Armstrong came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Whiteley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vince Armstrong couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vince Armstrong in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Slator prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th match minute, Sadbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Purvis to maneuver through the defense. After 77th play minutes Kelvin Cutts shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Sidney Slator and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 82nd minute Vince Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Slator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidney Slator came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Whiteley's Vince Armstrong. But to his dismay, Vince Armstrong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Sadbury FC's Sidney Slator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Cutts in the 96th minute of play.
