Andre Mansell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Holbrook, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcester FC's goalkeeper Andre Mansell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, William Bennet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alcester FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 19 minutes, Ronan Elam mouthed his way into the referee's book. Ivan Hoskins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Shawn Jordan made the kick off in the second half. Shawn Jordan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Damion Easton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Len Bambrook, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andre Mansell was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Ivan Hoskins fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcester FC's protests and gave Ivan Hoskins a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Alcester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Hoskins to maneuver through the defense. Andre Mansell was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Stephen Holbrook capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
