Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when William Bennet kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Jonathon Askew's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidney Slator was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. If Jonathon Askew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Alcester FC's William Bennet in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sadbury FC's goalie prevented a goal. David Wakefield kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Sadbury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathon Askew came free, but Sidney Slator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Slator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Bennet in the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathon Askew in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Slator prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Wakefield made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Colin Dixon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcester FC and the Sadbury FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alcester FC's Colin Dixon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sidney Slator was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and William Bennet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. William Bennet really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When William Bennet came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Alcester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Bennet couldn't finish the play. Shawn Jordan charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shawn Jordan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shawn Jordan hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Sidney Slator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Bennet in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Jonathon Askew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathon Askew struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sidney Slator didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcester FC. William Bennet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A hard shot 74 in the game by Jonathon Askew from a close distance when the talented Sidney Slator managed to make a qualified save. Sadbury FC's players were relieved. Teddy Purvis kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, William Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but William Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Slator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dave Tomkins hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match Glyn Whitehead sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidney Slator skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, William Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but William Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Slator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidney Slator was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Glyn Whitehead. Larry Hilton's late challenge caught a Alcester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larry Hilton helped the player get up and apologised. Larry Hilton kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Alcester FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
