Vince Warrender was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathon Askew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes, Alcester FC's Glyn Whitehead shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vince Warrender came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alcester FC reached it. In the 27th minute, Colin Dixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Fenton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Mansell having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Alcester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Nelson came free, but Andre Mansell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vince Warrender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Bennet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Madrid C.F's Vince Warrender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Bennet in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Jonathon Askew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Warrender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Madrid C.F getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ben Steel hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nathan Nelson made a kick off. Henry Fenton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andre Mansell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Madrid C.F's goalkeeper Vince Warrender, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathon Askew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Real Madrid C.F's Vince Warrender got control of the ball when Jonathon Askew tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jonathon Askew could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Vince Warrender however easily saved by the left post. If William Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Nelson in the 74th minute of play forced Alcester FC's goalkeeper Andre Mansell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Vince Warrender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tris Clough kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Glyn Whitehead shot from a long distance.
