Sidney Slator was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nigel Ash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sadbury FC's Sidney Slator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nigel Ash in the 12th minute of play. Sidney Slator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Ash, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Rupert Dingle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Sidney Slator successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rupert Dingle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Sidney Slator made a huge save. In the 25th minute, David Wakefield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nigel Ash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Wakefield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Teddy Purvis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Wakefield, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

David Wakefield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rodd Welsh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, David Wakefield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Studley AFC's Nigel Ash sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Slator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rupert Dingle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryan Sharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Sadbury FC were awarded a corner. If Nigel Ash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Studley AFC's zone, Ryan Sharpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodd Welsh came out of the goal and Ryan Sharpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidney Slator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nigel Ash in the 86th minute of the match. When Rupert Dingle came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Studley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Dingle couldn't finish the play. In the 94th match minute, Sadbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Wakefield to maneuver through the defense. Rupert Dingle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Studley AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
