Little Harrowden
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dominic Summers kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Little Harrowden FC's zone, Keanu Munday stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Warren Cummings came out of the goal and Keanu Munday tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Little Harrowden FC's Danny Fleming got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Danny Fleming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Younger charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Younger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ribena's Eric Younger got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, one of Ribena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ribena. The goalkeeper, Gerry Bolton, was totally fooled by Little Harrowden FC's Alfred Woodhead, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 23 minutes of play, Ribena's Keanu Munday made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Warren Cummings was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gez Milton scored 1-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Warren Cummings, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eric Younger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Keanu Munday had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Warren Cummings. Little Harrowden FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keanu Munday was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Ribena's Gez Milton got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keanu Munday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Cummings having to interfere. Warren Cummings showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Milton in the 39th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes, Little Harrowden FC's Alfred Woodhead shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerry Bolton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Little Harrowden FC reached it. After 43 played minutes Ribena got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Kearney. Ash Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerry Bolton having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gez Milton was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ribena's Keanu Munday sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Warren Cummings narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ribena's Gerry Bolton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ash Major in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Major in the 58th minute of play forced Ribena's goalkeeper Gerry Bolton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gez Milton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Warren Cummings having to interfere. Walter Barone hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gerry Bolton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Summers in the 65th minute of play. Gerry Bolton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ash Major in the 68th minute of the match. Danny Fleming hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Ribena got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Kearney. Keanu Munday recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Little Harrowden FC's goalkeeper Warren Cummings, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Little Harrowden FC's Ash Major nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerry Bolton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Gez Milton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Warren Cummings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ribena could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Little Harrowden FC throughout the match.
