Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gwyn Halford made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Dave Blake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Tucker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stuart Hudson having to make a save. Gary Oates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Nightingale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gwyn Halford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Gwyn Halford managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenwood fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwyn Halford was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, All Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Halford came free, but Gary Oates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calvin Purvis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Gary Oates made a huge save. Greg Beckford kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Isaac Tucker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Stuart Hudson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sonny Rayner during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Greenwood fc booed when All Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Rayner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Calvin Purvis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gary Oates. Calvin Purvis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Gwyn Halford came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Greenwood fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwyn Halford couldn't finish the play. Greenwood fc's Stuart Hudson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Blake in the 43rd minute of play. Gary Oates didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calvin Purvis went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dave Blake to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Kasey Steed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the All Stars and the Greenwood fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Greenwood fc booed when All Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasey Steed didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, All Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Calvin Purvis came free, but Gary Oates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gary Oates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Purvis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwyn Halford in the 57th minute of play forced All Stars's goalkeeper Gary Oates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Calvin Purvis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gary Oates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvin Purvis in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gary Oates saved All Stars from getting behind. Gwyn Halford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Isaac Tucker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwyn Halford scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gary Oates, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84thth minute of the game Gwyn Halford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but All Stars's Gary Oates was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All Stars's Gary Oates played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwyn Halford in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in All Stars's zone, Gwyn Halford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gary Oates came out of the goal and Gwyn Halford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vance Rowe's late challenge caught a All Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vance Rowe helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Greenwood fc got a freekick which was hit by Vance Rowe. In the 94th minute of the match Garth Duffield shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stuart Hudson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stuart Hudson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Blake in the 96th minute of the match. Greenwood fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of All Stars for a fine match.
