Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Wardell made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Fenerbahce UK booed when North Shields CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reuben Knowles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Reuben Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Shields CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Reuben Knowles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Fenwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sean West blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Fenwick having to make a save. Jake Mitchell fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 27th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. If Reuben Knowles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes in the game Sean West got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Kris Tomkins hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Reuben Knowles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Fenwick having to interfere. Sean West received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jack Fenwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reuben Knowles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Reuben Knowles managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind North Shields CF's goalkeeper Brandon Whiteley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reuben Knowles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Despite being the better team, North Shields CF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
