Jack Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Ring, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Fenerbahce UK's goalkeeper Jack Fenwick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Ring. After having played for 40 minutes, Conal Gibbons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pondersbridge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conal Gibbons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fenerbahce UK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Conal Gibbons scored to the left of an out of position Jack Fenwick, making the score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Wardell was the one to do the kick off. Conal Gibbons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Fenwick having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Conal Gibbons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Fenwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conal Gibbons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Fenwick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reg Crane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reg Crane in the 68th minute of play forced Fenerbahce UK's goalkeeper Jack Fenwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Mitchell charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jake Mitchell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pondersbridge FC booed when Fenerbahce UK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake Mitchell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kev Cotton kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jack Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conal Gibbons, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Pondersbridge FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
