Tom Lee-Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wladyslaw Orszak scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Faith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th match minute, ZEIG AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Cummins to maneuver through the defense. Peter Jenkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Wladyslaw Orszak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZEIG AFC's Luke Faith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guildford City united fc's Marty Adcock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Guildford City united fc from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Tom Lee-Barrett fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marty Adcock, passed just outside the right post. If Tom Lee-Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Guildford City united fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stancho Bolashikov to maneuver through the defense. Guildford City united fc's Grant Booth quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Brian Milligan, made in the 82nd minute of the game. Grant Booth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luke Faith having to make a save. Ashley Beasley hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Rob Purkiss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luke Faith. ZEIG AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rob Purkiss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Guildford City united fc were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant ZEIG AFC side.
