Spectators: 7430 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 30) Fraser Atherton made the kick off and thus started the match. Blair Broom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GBNK's Neil Rooney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Cobb in the 4th minute of play. If Ronny Blackwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Archway's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Welsh came free, but Dominic Sheridan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neil Rooney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Cobb in the 10th minute of the match. If Liam Cobb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blair Broom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Neil Rooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blair Broom was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Archway's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Archway booed when GBNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Crispin Featherstone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liam Cobb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 25 minutes, Blair Broom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Archway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blair Broom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Archway's Dominic Sheridan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Atherton in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Archway's zone, Bobby Welsh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominic Sheridan came out of the goal and Bobby Welsh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Sheridan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fraser Atherton in the 40th minute of the match. Dominic Sheridan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Welsh, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Ronny Blackwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

53 minutes into the match, Archway's Liam Cobb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neil Rooney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicholas Greenfield kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Fraser Atherton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Sheridan having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bobby Welsh got free with Dominic Sheridan in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Des Bryden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crispin Featherstone shot from long distance in the 75th minute, but Dominic Sheridan was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Fraser Atherton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the GBNK defense, Blair Broom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neil Rooney. The GBNK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neil Rooney should have stopped the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
