Chelsea100's Bradley Anson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Theakston in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Chelsea100's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Theakston came free, but Bradley Anson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phil Tynan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niall Swallow in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Chelsea100 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Winter to maneuver through the defense. Slough F C's Tristan Theakston managed to work through Chelsea100's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tristan Theakston dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 16th minute, Lance Armitage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Slough F C's Frazer Purvis got a free kick in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Slough F C's goalkeeper Phil Tynan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Hitchen. Bradley Anson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Boxall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradley Anson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristan Theakston in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Chelsea100's Lance Armitage sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phil Tynan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Armitage in the 33rd minute of play forced Slough F C's goalkeeper Phil Tynan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Slough F C's Howard Osbourn got a free kick in the 34th minute. Phil Tynan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Winter's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Frazer Purvis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phil Tynan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Armitage in the 47th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chelsea100 defense, Sol Boxall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bradley Anson. The Chelsea100 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bradley Anson should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Steve Hitchen might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phil Tynan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steve Hitchen ran back to his position shaking his head. Lance Armitage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phil Tynan having to make a save. Phil Tynan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Armitage, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Steve Hitchen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phil Tynan. Slough F C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Hitchen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Phil Tynan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Armitage, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Chelsea100 booed when Slough F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Howard Osbourn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Frazer Purvis came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Slough F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frazer Purvis couldn't finish the play. After having played for 72 minutes, Lance Armitage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea100's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lance Armitage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Lance Armitage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phil Tynan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sol Boxall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bradley Anson made a huge save. Frazer Purvis kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Chelsea100 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Niall Swallow hit a great ball.
