When Oscar Bowland fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flash of the Blade's protests and gave Oscar Bowland a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Flash of the Blade got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Bowland. A collision led to Flash of the Blade getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alistair Hartley hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Flash of the Blade's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Church came free, but Gerry Jones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnathan Pointon's late challenge caught a West asdickham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johnathan Pointon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Flash of the Blade's Johnathan Pointon got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bart Blowman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Harris in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Anthony McGurk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West asdickham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flash of the Blade the free kick. With a little luck, West asdickham FC's Bart Blowman got control of the ball when Casey Gilchrist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casey Gilchrist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bart Blowman having to make a save. After 22nd play minutes Oscar Bowland shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Bart Blowman and just under the crossbar into goal. Bart Blowman was a little too slow when Oscar Bowland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jonathon Ridsdale hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Jonathon Ridsdale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Carl Church cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gerry Jones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. West asdickham FC were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Flash of the Blade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathon Ridsdale took the corner.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathon Ridsdale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Jonathon Ridsdale recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerry Jones. Jonathon Ridsdale showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 61 minutes into the game, Damion Towler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Bart Blowman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, Damion Towler notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of West asdickham FC's Bart Blowman. Bart Blowman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Damion Towler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart Blowman having to interfere. Doug Hylton hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Bart Blowman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Anthony McGurk managed to get in a good position for a shot. West asdickham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony McGurk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerry Jones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daryl Symons kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Jonathon Ridsdale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West asdickham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathon Ridsdale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Casey Gilchrist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Blowman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bart Blowman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tosh Harris's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. During the 99th minute of the match Anthony McGurk completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anthony McGurk a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 99th minute, Anthony McGurk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
