Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Seth Kemp started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes, Bombardier F.C's Jack McDonald shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bart Blowman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bombardier F.C reached it. In the 11th minute, Carl Church reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alf Broadhurst. The goal made the score 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nath Walmsley in the 16th minute of play forced West asdickham FC's goalkeeper Bart Blowman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seth Kemp might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bart Blowman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seth Kemp ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Nath Walmsley made a precise shot to the right of Bart Blowman. West asdickham FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Bombardier F.C's Alf Broadhurst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Bombardier F.C from getting a goal against them. Anthony McGurk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Broadhurst having to interfere. Steven Folwill's late challenge caught a West asdickham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steven Folwill helped the player get up and apologised. Steven Folwill hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Alf Broadhurst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathon Ridsdale in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nath Walmsley in the 43rd minute of play forced West asdickham FC's goalkeeper Bart Blowman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Jonathon Ridsdale made the kick off in the second half. Alf Broadhurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathon Ridsdale in the 52nd minute of play. If Carl Church had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Jonathon Ridsdale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West asdickham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathon Ridsdale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Bombardier F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathon Ridsdale came free, but Alf Broadhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathon Ridsdale in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alf Broadhurst saved Bombardier F.C from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Bombardier F.C's Lance Ramsden ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bart Blowman. Bart Blowman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. 64 minutes into the match, West asdickham FC's goalkeeper Bart Blowman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steven Folwill. If Alex Blacksmith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony McGurk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alf Broadhurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Broadhurst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Dobby in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Jonathon Ridsdale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bombardier F.C's Alf Broadhurst was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conal Dobby might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alf Broadhurst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conal Dobby ran back to his position shaking his head. Carl Church received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alf Broadhurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anthony McGurk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Conal Dobby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Broadhurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute Lance Ramsden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart Blowman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Broadhurst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conal Dobby in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Carl Church managed to get in a good position for a shot. West asdickham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Church was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Broadhurst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Conal Dobby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Bombardier F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of West asdickham FC:s goal. In the 98th minute of the match Chaz Major shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Broadhurst showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. West asdickham FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
