With his leg Kurt Gough managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Arsenal London FC's Damien Beaumont fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Damien Beaumont's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kurt Gough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, one of Arsenal London FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Arsenal London FC. Bart Gurney's late challenge caught a Arsenal London FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bart Gurney helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Bart Gurney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Gough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Weatherhead's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Joel Weatherhead ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kurt Gough was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Finglesham United's goalkeeper Kurt Gough, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5-2 became the score in the 63rd minute when Joel Weatherhead elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Joel Weatherhead had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Gough. Finglesham United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Weatherhead was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kurt Gough showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenal London FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
