Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Weatherhead made the kick off which started today's match. Joel Weatherhead hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 3rd play minute Seth Gillow came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Neil Hargrave. 1-0. A collision led to Sporting Díjon getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rod Wakefield hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Joel Weatherhead made a precise shot to the right of Ken Beckford. Sporting Díjon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 13 minutes of play, Arsenal London FC's Isaac Eglington made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ken Beckford was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Weatherhead in the 16th minute of play forced Sporting Díjon's goalkeeper Ken Beckford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damien Beaumont recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Weatherhead in the 20th minute of play forced Sporting Díjon's goalkeeper Ken Beckford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Damien Beaumont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Beckford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Díjon's Ken Beckford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Eglington in the 22nd minute of play. Ken Beckford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny McGovern in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Arsenal London FC got a freekick which was hit by Todd Pritchard. Ken Beckford came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal London FC's Damien Beaumont. But to his dismay, Damien Beaumont quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Seth Gillow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Seth Gillow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Díjon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seth Gillow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ken Beckford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Eglington in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting Díjon's Vinnie Bodsworth got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Damien Beaumont ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ken Beckford was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Seth Gillow made the kick off in the second half. Seth Gillow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Hargrave having to interfere. If Donny Shotton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, Arsenal London FC's Damien Beaumont nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ken Beckford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Damien Beaumonts short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Ken Beckford to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sporting Díjon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Joel Weatherhead scored to the left of an out of position Ken Beckford, making the score, 1-6. In the 64th minute Frank Pearch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Beckford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seth Gillow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Neil Hargrave read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Seth Gillow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neil Hargrave was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Ken Beckford successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 76 minutes into the match, Sporting Díjon's goalkeeper Ken Beckford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damien Beaumont. After a rather tough play, Sporting Díjon's Seth Gillow got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 84 minutes of play, Sporting Díjon's Seth Gillow made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Neil Hargrave was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Seth Gillow came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Sporting Díjon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seth Gillow couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Díjon's goalkeeper Ken Beckford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Arsenal London FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sporting Díjon.
