Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Will Woodyat started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Callum Byrom got free with Marcus Barnett in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Dylan Breeden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Auty was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ash Fry during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ash Fry kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Callum Byrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcus Barnett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes of play, Heron Olympic's Dylan Breeden made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Auty was left in no man's land by his defense there! Callum Byrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marcus Barnett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deon Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Barnett stood somewhat misplaced when Callum Byrom came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 32 minute. In the 35th minute, Callum Byrom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to West Rainton AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ethan Dwyer hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Zackary Mulford sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and West Rainton AFC's Charles Auty didn't even have to move. Heron Olympic's Will Woodyat got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deon Kennedy to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Callum Byrom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Rainton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Callum Byrom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Heron Olympic's Will Woodyat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles Auty. Charles Auty yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Marcus Barnett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Callum Byrom in the 67th minute of play. Heron Olympic's Marcus Barnett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deon Kennedy in the 72nd minute of play. After 76 played minutes West Rainton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pete Crouch. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by West Rainton AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zackary Mulford was slow to take the kick. During this time Heron Olympic's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zackary Mulford got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Charles Auty quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th match minute, West Rainton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Harrison to maneuver through the defense. West Rainton AFC's Charles Auty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Woodyat in the 94th minute of play.
