In the 22ndth minute of the game Barney Rowell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Rainton AFC's Charles Auty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Rainton AFC's goalkeeper Charles Auty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Callum Byrom could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Jacob Higginson however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ethan Dwyer got free with Jacob Higginson in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Junior Purkiss during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacob Higginson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Dwyer in the 44th minute of play. Charles Auty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brett Clayson in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Abraham Gregory lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Charles Auty. In the 78th minute Callum Byrom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Higginson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, West Rainton AFC's Marty Shackleton tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brett Clayson got free with Charles Auty in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Labor Durus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Junior Purkiss in the 87th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of West Rainton AFC's goalie and right to Gwyn Cheswick. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. West Rainton AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. West Rainton AFC's Charles Auty proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save West Rainton AFC from getting a goal against them. Charles Auty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brett Clayson in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute Deon Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Higginson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Labor Durus FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than West Rainton AFC.
