Nigel Schofield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Ash Lomas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelsea AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 13th minute Lennie Brent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deon Haigh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Kurczaki Bradford FC's Gavin Middleton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rio Owen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Robert Corbridge kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Ash Lomas came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Chelsea AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ash Lomas couldn't finish the play. After 20 played minutes Kurczaki Bradford FC got a freekick which was hit by Brett Walton. In the 22nd minute of the match Thom Boyd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Deon Haigh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 23 minutes, Nigel Schofield made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kurczaki Bradford FC's Deon Haigh tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Spike Chandler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rio Owen was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Chelsea AFC's Rio Owen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spike Chandler in the 37th minute of play. Deon Haigh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ash Lomas's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Chelsea AFC's Lennie Brent got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deon Haigh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ash Lomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Chelsea AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Spike Chandler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Kurczaki Bradford FC's goalkeeper Deon Haigh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nigel Schofield. Nigel Schofield who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Deon Haigh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ash Lomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deon Haigh having to interfere. Deon Haigh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ash Lomas's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Deon Haigh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ash Lomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Harvey Broom kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nigel Schofield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Deon Haigh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chelsea AFC's Ash Lomas in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92nd minute, Gavin Middleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Ash Lomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chelsea AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
