Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Chorley Grosvenor's Gaz Beecham got a free kick in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abraham King during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Chorley Grosvenor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham King to maneuver through the defense. Verne Eubank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham King in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gaz Beecham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorley Grosvenor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaz Beecham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Verne Eubank breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaz Beecham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chorley Grosvenor's Gaz Beecham in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterfoot's goalie prevented a goal. Orson Clemence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chorley Grosvenor's Orson Clemence in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterfoot's goalie prevented a goal. Gaz Beecham took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Verne Eubank. Verne Eubank dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Orson Clemence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaz Beecham struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Verne Eubank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorley Grosvenor. When Chorley Grosvenor's Orson Clemence in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterfoot's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Orson Clemence came free, but Verne Eubank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Orson Clemence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Orson Clemence managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorley Grosvenor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orson Clemence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After 52 played minutes Chorley Grosvenor got a freekick which was hit by Abraham King. Orson Clemence's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Verne Eubank skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Waterfoot's Verne Eubank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaz Beecham in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Waterfoot's zone, Gaz Beecham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Verne Eubank came out of the goal and Gaz Beecham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Verne Eubank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaz Beecham in the 65th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Waterfoot's goal looked a bit too open when Gaz Beecham came free, but Verne Eubank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gaz Beecham came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Chorley Grosvenor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaz Beecham couldn't finish the play. Verne Eubank came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chorley Grosvenor's Gaz Beecham. But to his dismay, Gaz Beecham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gaz Beecham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Verne Eubank made a huge save. If Orson Clemence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waterfoot's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gaz Beecham 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. 90 minutes into the game, Chorley Grosvenor's Orson Clemence nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verne Eubank made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 93rd match minute, Chorley Grosvenor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orson Clemence to maneuver through the defense. If Gaz Beecham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verne Eubank showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaz Beecham in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Chorley Grosvenor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Waterfoot.
