Spike Chandler started the match with the kick off. Robert Corbridge's late challenge caught a Arsenal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Corbridge helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Robert Corbridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Zak Downes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deon Haigh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Kurczaki Bradford FC got a freekick which was hit by Ted Blakewell. Deon Haigh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nial Legg, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Kurczaki Bradford FC's Deon Haigh got control of the ball when Zak Downes tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Kurczaki Bradford FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ted Blakewell hit a great ball. If Zak Downes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zak Downes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Deon Haigh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casey Reddington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Zak Downes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With his leg Deon Haigh managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Arsenal FC's Zak Downes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Deon Haigh was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jo Lampard. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zak Downes to make the kick off. Kurczaki Bradford FC's Deon Haigh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nial Legg in the 52nd minute of play. Kurczaki Bradford FC were furious when Malcolm Durkin was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 56 played minutes Kurczaki Bradford FC got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Durkin. 59 minutes into the game, Zak Downes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Deon Haigh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kurczaki Bradford FC's zone, Casey Reddington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deon Haigh came out of the goal and Casey Reddington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Kurczaki Bradford FC defense, Zak Downes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deon Haigh. The Kurczaki Bradford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deon Haigh should have stopped the shot. Deon Haigh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casey Reddington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Casey Reddington had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deon Haigh. Kurczaki Bradford FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casey Reddington was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Kurczaki Bradford FC's Deon Haigh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nial Legg in the 75th minute of play. Casey Reddington charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casey Reddington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Casey Reddington hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Nial Legg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Arsenal FC were the better team. Arsenal FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
