Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 140) 7 minutes into the match, Harleston United's Lance Lobb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blair Widdrington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Coventry UTD's Dylan Butterfield got a free kick in the 9th minute. Blair Widdrington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lance Lobb's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Orson Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ray Brayson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orson Lambert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ray Brayson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Sheringham in the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Oscar Sheringham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ray Brayson was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 28 minutes, Carlton Spurgeon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harleston United and the Coventry UTD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Harleston United getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Carlton Spurgeon hit a great ball. Oscar Sheringham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orson Lambert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orson Lambert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Brayson having to interfere. Oscar Sheringham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orson Lambert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ray Brayson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Sheringham succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 46th minute Lance Lobb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Widdrington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Harleston United's Jeremy Winterburn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blair Widdrington narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lance Lobb to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Ray Brayson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Coventry UTD's zone, Lance Lobb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair Widdrington came out of the goal and Lance Lobb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Sheringham was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Coventry UTD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lance Lobb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blair Widdrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Lobb in the 71st minute of play. Ray Brayson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Sheringham in the 76th minute of the match. Blair Widdrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Lobb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lance Lobb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blair Widdrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Lobb, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Orson Lambert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ray Brayson made a huge save. If Lance Lobb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coventry UTD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
