After a defensive mix-up in Coventry UTD's zone, Lance Lobb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair Widdrington came out of the goal and Lance Lobb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Sheringham was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Coventry UTD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lance Lobb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blair Widdrington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Lobb in the 71st minute of play. Ray Brayson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Sheringham in the 76th minute of the match. Blair Widdrington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Lobb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lance Lobb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blair Widdrington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Lobb, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Orson Lambert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ray Brayson made a huge save. If Lance Lobb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coventry UTD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
