Robbie Constantine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute, Sammy Ratcliffe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Roy Hayward mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tenbury Wells and the Lubenita Godlob players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Tenbury Wells got a freekick which was hit by Roy Hayward. In the 18th minute of the match Benji Warden sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robbie Constantine skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Tenbury Wells's Roy Hayward got a free kick in the 27th minute. Sammy Ratcliffe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Robbie Constantine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Sammy Ratcliffe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Constantine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Lubenita Godlob's goalkeeper Damion Paget had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barney Maloney. In the 32nd match minute, Lubenita Godlob was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Camfield to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Lubenita Godlob's Damion Paget got control of the ball when Barney Maloney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sammy Ratcliffe might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robbie Constantine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ash Jones's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robbie Constantine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Tenbury Wells's Robbie Constantine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ash Jones in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Lubenita Godlob were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Seb Slator, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Damion Paget was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With his leg Robbie Constantine managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Lubenita Godlob's Ash Jones fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lubenita Godlob's Eric Emberson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barney Maloney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Lubenita Godlob's Sammy Ratcliffe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robbie Constantine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Tenbury Wells got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Inman. A collision led to Tenbury Wells getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jo Metcalfe hit a great ball. The Lubenita Godlob fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Lubenita Godlob's Ash Jones looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Robbie Constantine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jo Metcalfe's late challenge caught a Lubenita Godlob's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jo Metcalfe helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tenbury Wells! The referee gave Lubenita Godlob a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benji Warden, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tenbury Wells's Robbie Constantine. 0-6. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tenbury Wells's goalkeeper Robbie Constantine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lubenita Godlob eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
