An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Revell in the 34th minute of play forced Lubenita Godlob's goalkeeper Damion Paget to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damion Paget showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Revell, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Billy Silk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Ratcliffe in the 40th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Benji Warden got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Billy Silk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Hugh Ripley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Sammy Ratcliffe made the kick off in the second half. Bradford AFC's Hugh Ripley got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Billy Silk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ash Jones in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Lubenita Godlob was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Deighton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Jones in the 71st minute of play forced Bradford AFC's goalkeeper Billy Silk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugh Ripley got free with Damion Paget in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lubenita Godlob's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Freddy Revell 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Wesley Deighton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Billy Silk. Bradford AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bradford AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
