After 14 played minutes, Tenbury Wells's Johnathon Drury shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Billy Silk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tenbury Wells reached it. After having played for 16 minutes, Barney Maloney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenbury Wells's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barney Maloney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Seb Slator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Chris Rawlings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bradford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tenbury Wells the free kick. Chris Rawlings kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Barney Maloney's late challenge caught a Bradford AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Freddy Revell made the kick off in the second half. During the 65th minute of the match Robert Heslop completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Robert Heslop a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 83rd minute, Barney Maloney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Seb Slator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tenbury Wells's supporters rose to their feet, but Seb Slator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Silk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugh Ripley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Bradford AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tenbury Wells's performance. The match ended with a win for Tenbury Wells.
