The supporters of Bradford AFC booed when Tenbury Wells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Metcalfe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Bradford AFC got a corner. Tenbury Wells's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Darren Neville ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Darren Neville almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tenbury Wells's Robbie Constantine did a great save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bradford AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 14th minute, Hugh Ripley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugh Ripley struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Robbie Constantine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bradford AFC. After some careless play in the Tenbury Wells defense, Hugh Ripley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robbie Constantine. The Tenbury Wells fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbie Constantine should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute of the match Johnny Green shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robbie Constantine showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Freddy Revell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robbie Constantine having to make a save. In the 26th minute Freddy Revell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Constantine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Tenbury Wells was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles Digby to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tenbury Wells's Roy Hayward got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a little luck, Bradford AFC's Billy Silk got control of the ball when Barney Maloney tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Seb Slator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tenbury Wells's supporters rose to their feet, but Seb Slator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Silk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barney Maloney was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Heslop during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Seb Slator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Billy Silk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barney Maloney in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seb Slator in the 90th minute of play forced Bradford AFC's goalkeeper Billy Silk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tenbury Wells supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bradford AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bradford AFC.
