The coaching staff of Tenbury Wells protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jo Metcalfe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tenbury Wells! The goalkeeper, Robbie Constantine, was totally fooled by Lubenita Godlob's Benji Warden, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Robbie Constantine made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ash Jones sent off a good shot on target. Miles Digby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damion Paget having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sammy Ratcliffe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robbie Constantine. That made the score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. Barney Maloney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Damion Paget tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
