Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Ryde Warriors from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coventry City F.C.'s goalkeeper Damion Workman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Rory Maylett notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Coventry City F.C.'s Damion Workman. Damion Workman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Hold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Bowland in the 17th minute of the match. Leigh Dennison hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The long shot by Beinn Leadbeater in the 20th minute really tested Lucas Hold's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rory Maylett hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lucas Hold came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry City F.C.'s Pedro Downes. But to his dismay, Pedro Downes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lucas Hold made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Sidney Lawton sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold got control of the ball when Pedro Downes tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rory Maylett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Rory Maylett notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Coventry City F.C.'s Damion Workman. Damion Workman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rory Maylett struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Damion Workman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ryde Warriors. Damion Workman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wayne Denham's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Carlton Bowland made the kick off in the second half. Rory Maylett hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ryde Warriors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beinn Leadbeater was slow to take the kick. During this time Coventry City F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Coventry City F.C.'s Lewis Briant getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rory Maylett in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damion Workman saved Coventry City F.C. from getting behind. Carlton Bowland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Hold having to interfere. Lucas Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlton Bowland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ryde Warriors's Rory Maylett in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coventry City F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Rory Maylett succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. In the 77th match minute, Ryde Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Maylett to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Ryde Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Lawton came free, but Lucas Hold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Hold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Kaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Coventry City F.C. defense, Wayne Denham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damion Workman. The Coventry City F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damion Workman should have stopped the shot. Damion Workman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rory Maylett showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 87 minute of play. Carlton Bowland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lucas Hold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Deacon during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simon Deacon kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ryde Warriors's Lucas Hold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beinn Leadbeater in the 97th minute of play. The Coventry City F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ryde Warriors's performance. The match ended with a win for Ryde Warriors.
