Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rio Sedgemore made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Rio Sedgemore fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Warren Jenkinson, passed just outside the right post. Ashley English received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Warren Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wigan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Rio Sedgemore scored to the left of an out of position Warren Jenkinson, making the score, 1-0. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Wigan. Ryan Goodfellow stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felix Reid. 1-1. Warren Jenkinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rio Sedgemore's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Hawbush United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benji Dickner to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Hawbush United defense, Marc Branson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Reid. The Hawbush United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Reid should have stopped the shot. Marc Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Reid having to interfere. In the 28th minute Simeon Clarke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Reid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wigan's Graham Pope got a free kick in the 30th minute. Warren Jenkinson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Benji Dickner. Rio Sedgemore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Warren Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Wigan got a freekick which was hit by Graham Pope. Rio Sedgemore struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Warren Jenkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawbush United. Wigan's Warren Jenkinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Wigan from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marc Branson was the one to do the kick off. If Rio Sedgemore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Sedgemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Vinnie Hackney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hawbush United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wigan the free kick. A collision led to Hawbush United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Vinnie Hackney hit a great ball. The Hawbush United fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Hawbush United's Ashley English looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ashley English struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Warren Jenkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawbush United. Hawbush United's Ashley English got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Ryan Goodfellow put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wigan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Hawbush United. Benji Dickner stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Warren Jenkinson. 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ashley English in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Warren Jenkinson saved Wigan from getting behind. Ashley English might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Warren Jenkinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ashley English ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Rio Sedgemore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Warren Jenkinson was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Ashley English received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Warren Jenkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley English in the 85th minute of play forced Wigan's goalkeeper Warren Jenkinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hawbush United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
