Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bob Bensley made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ashley English sent off a good shot on target. Felix Reid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Lawson in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yoxford City's goalkeeper Bob Bensley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Reid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Coulson in the 14th minute of the match. Jay Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Reid having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Rio Sedgemore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hawbush United's Rio Sedgemore in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yoxford City's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Duffield hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hawbush United's zone, Jay Coulson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Reid came out of the goal and Jay Coulson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Jay Coulson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yoxford City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Coulson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jay Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Reid having to interfere. Ashley English was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Hawbush United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bob Bensley stood somewhat misplaced when Ashley English came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 49 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rio Sedgemore to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley English in the 57th minute of play forced Yoxford City's goalkeeper Bob Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Rio Sedgemore made a precise shot to the right of Bob Bensley. Yoxford City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Ashley English came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Hawbush United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley English couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Rio Sedgemore made a precise shot to the right of Bob Bensley. Yoxford City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Adrian Lawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Reid having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Warren Carragher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley English couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute Rio Sedgemore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yoxford City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hawbush United.
