Justin Dingle kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Derry Hill's Zack Budden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Moyse in the 20th minute of play. If Blair Moyse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zack Budden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Moyse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Adrian Palmer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zack Budden. Zack Budden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Palmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, Derry Hill's Zack Budden got control of the ball when Tristan Forbes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Derry Hill's Justin Dingle got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristan Forbes got free with Zack Budden in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jim Cullen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manchester Dream's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
