Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richie Brooks kicked off to start the match. In the 8th match minute, Whitstable United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daryl Maclean to maneuver through the defense. If Richie Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Whitstable United's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Brooks came free, but Theo McGrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralph Greenwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Richie Brooks managed to get in a good position for a shot. AlcoTeam St Neots FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richie Brooks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo McGrath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, AlcoTeam St Neots FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Watson came free, but Barry Mann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ralph Greenwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Richie Brooks put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Theo McGrath. Theo McGrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Brooks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Whitstable United's George Trotter got a free kick in the 38th minute. Theo McGrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Brooks in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Dylon Fairbank notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AlcoTeam St Neots FC's Barry Mann. Barry Mann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antony Watson was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Felix Kerfoot put in a rough tackle. Felix Kerfoot kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Richie Brooks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Theo McGrath when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Richie Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rod Izzard struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Theo McGrath didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AlcoTeam St Neots FC. Richie Brooks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Richie Brooks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Tate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo McGrath having to interfere. Theo McGrath was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Richie Brooks showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. Barry Mann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylon Fairbank in the 80th minute of the match. Leo Tate could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Theo McGrath made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Dylon Fairbank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barry Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Whitstable United got a freekick which was hit by Perry Blowman. Richie Brooks took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theo McGrath. Theo McGrath dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.
